About the Role: We’re seeking a dynamic Senior Vice President Legal Affairs to design, build, and lead our in-house legal function. This is a senior executive role at the heart of our organization, serving as a trusted advisor to the CEO and Executive Leadership. You’ll shape legal strategy, ensure compliance, and drive risk management across a complex healthcare and nonprofit environment. Can be based in Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, or St. Pete.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead the internal legal function and establish a long-term legal vision.
• Advise on governance, compliance, and healthcare regulations (HIPAA, FDA, Stark/Anti-Kickback, etc.).
• Develop policies, contracting processes, and risk frameworks.
• Support strategic initiatives including expansion projects, joint ventures, and major vendor agreements.
• Partner with leadership to align legal priorities with organizational goals.

What We’re Looking For:

• J.D. degree and 10+ years of legal experience (law firm + in-house mix).
• Expertise in healthcare law, nonprofit governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven ability to advise senior executives.
• Required to be currently licensed or apply for admission to the Florida Bar
• Position can be based in Orlando, St. Petersburg, or Fort Lauderdale
