Commodore Realty is looking for a Paralegal/Lease Administrator. In this role you will be responsible for handling landlord/tenant matters for our company owned portfolio, consisting of retail and grocery anchored shopping centers in Florida. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with commercial leases; in addition to working with existing tenants to resolve issues.
Responsibilities:
Draft, review and negotiate real estate leases, renewals, assignments, amendments and termination of new and existing tenants; as well as ancillary real estate documents (amendments, NDAs, estoppels, etc.)
Existing tenant management, support leasing, property management, accounting and other company staff in enforcement of the lease.
Experience related to landlord/tenant commercial real estate work
College degree or paralegal certificate
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the commercial leasing process, from initial lease negotiations through final approval
Experience in negotiation national retail credit leases
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent planning, organization, coordination and time management skills, including ability to manage multiple projects
