Florida Association of Court Clerks and Comptrollers/CiviTek Solutions, located in Tallahassee, Florida, is actively recruiting for a Member Services Specialist to assist and coordinate in person and online events.
Florida Association of Court Clerks & Comptrollers is a statewide, non-profit member association. The association is comprised of the Florida Clerks of the Circuit Court and Comptrollers. FACC Services Group, LLC, dba CiviTek Solutions was established in 1991 to provide financial and technical services for the Clerks of Circuit Court and Comptrollers of the State of Florida. CiviTek is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Florida Association of Court Clerks, Inc. (FCCC).
A Brief Overview
The Member Services Specialist works closely with the Convention & Curriculum Manager, Education Specialist, and Event Assistant, to plan and execute more than 40 in-person and online events held annually. This position is responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of small meetings and events as well as coordinating with the Certification & Grant Manager working on deliverables for educational grants and re-certification.
What you will do
Responsible for overseeing the planning and coordination of small events and meetings. Assists with the execution of more than 40 in-person and online events held annually. Creates reports to help determine the effectiveness of educational sessions and works with the Education & Curriculum Manager on how to best implement new ideas based on survey results.
Works closely with the Certification & Grant Manager to provide opportunities for Continuing Professional Education credits for Clerks and Clerk Staff. Responsible for creating an Event Specifications Guide (ESG) for all events, and event materials including session evaluations, session sign-ins, event signage, etc.
Assists Convention & Curriculum Manager and Education Specialist with speaker and keynote research and drafting speaker agreements. Responsible for managing onsite registration at events. Manages e-mail correspondence for all FCCC educational events.
Works closely with Convention & Curriculum Manager on all financial reports for accounting requirements. Point person for internal communication regarding pop-up events and smaller meetings. Attends meetings and conferences as required and provides team support during these events.
Develops, manages, and provides maintenance for event registration through the Association Management System (AMS). Provides online conference event support as needed. Serves as the FCCC Staff Support Liaison for select FCCC Committees, Subcommittees, Clerk affiliated Boards and workgroups; organizes meetings, materials, manages website content for these entities. Coordinates issues with FCCC professional team, consultants, subject matter experts and Clerks and their staff.

Bachelor's Degree Preferred
Work experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Required and
Minimum of 3 years related work experience in the areas of event planning, education, adult learning, training/development, or associated field. Required and
Prior experience executing association conferences and events Required and
Demonstrated experience working with elected officials, attorneys, and legislators Preferred and
Experience with Association Management System (AMS) Preferred and
Extended hours are required, including weekends and evenings to cover Clerk events. Required
Ability to listen and synthesize into action, at the direction of a group/committee, to carry out directives in a politically sensitive manner, and to work independently with elected officials and their staffs.
Requires ability to have excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
