A solution-driven real estate closure who is experienced in closings and explaining documents to consumers. This individual will have a final inspection of any documents which make their way into the closing room. This detail-oriented leader will be responsible for overseeing all team members with a role under the umbrella of real estate title at Common Bond.
This individual needs to have an intellectual knowledge of everything that happens during a real estate transaction. An intangible aspect of this person's professionalism is having the temperament to handle any issues that may arise as the closing takes place.
WHAT YOU'LL TAKE OWNERSHIP OF:
Overseeing all individuals with responsibility for files within the Title Department.
Inspecting closing documents for any errors, omissions, or additions which may be necessary.
Conducting the closing of refinances and/or real estate purchases with an explanation of any documents which pertain to the transaction.
Accurately notarizing and dating any pages requiring a notary acknowledgment.
Confirming with the lender that the file is ready for disbursement before disbursing any checks and/or proceeds from the sale.
Confirming with the post-closing department that it has all the needed documents and funds to perform its disbursement tasks.
Answering and handling all questions or problems which may arise after the closing.
NEED TO HAVES:
At a minimum, a bachelor's degree is required.
FL Licensed attorney in the State of Florida; or a closing representative with a minimum of 10 years of prior experience conducting closings.
Working knowledge of Real Estate Title and Closing terms.
Ability to resolve major conflicts that may arise at the closing table and use sound judgment when making the decisions to resolve such conflicts.
Ability to work effectively in a Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to work well under pressure, meet deadlines, organize workload, and maintain accurate files.
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Always maintains professionalism and has a positive service attitude.
Strong attention to detail.
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines.
Ability to communicate complicated concepts in an easy-to-understand manner.
LOVE TO HAVES:
A law degree
Extensive travel may be required.
A valid Driver's license is required.
Valid car insurance is required.
