Provide strategic leadership in attracting National and Big Box retail tenants to existing and new developments for one of Florida’s largest privately-held and most successful shopping center developers and retail property managers. Act as Player/Coach for the Leasing department. The Company manages approximately 6 million square feet of retail space and has approximately 1.5 million square feet in development.
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer and Company Owners
Maintain relationships with National and Big Box tenants and external Brokers.
Develop marketing packages for existing Centers and those in development.
Take a lead role in preparing materials and presentations for shows and conventions such as the ICSC
Work closely with the Development group in identifying potential tenants to anchor and participate in new Centers
Work with Senior Contracts Leasing Attorney to negotiate terms and conditions for potential new National and Big Box tenants
Work with National and Big Box tenants to develop an understanding of locations they are interested in and work with the Company Development team to communicate these plans
Manage the Leasing team to ensure that National and Big Box exclusives and restrictions are understood so that leasing to local/regional tenants can be done efficiently
Participate in Company Development meetings to provide Leasing direction.
