Well Established Immigration Law Firm is searching for a FULL TIME Associate Attorney to join their team.
The candidate should have in depth experience in immigration law matters. Shall possess the best attitude and communication skills towards coworkers and clients.
The candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills (in English and Spanish), be well organized and loyal to the mission of the Firm. We are a detail and customer service oriented immigration law firm. Fast learner and motivated is a must.
Supporting Managing Partner in all aspects of firm's case management. Act as key liaison, communicating with clients for various matters relating to immigration, provide information via telephone, postal mail and email. Prepare court documents, such Motions, Waivers and Notice of Filing. Improve effectiveness of case files management, office structure and organization. Prepare, review and analyze cases to ensure sufficiency of evidence and / or documentation, confirming readiness of cases for hearing and responsible for obtaining additional evidence, as necessary. Prepare Waivers, Motions to Reopen, Prosecutorial Discretion, VAWA, U-Visa Cases, Family Petitions, Stay of Deportation, among others remedies. MUST feel comfortable representing clients before Immigration Court during Master hearings and Individual hearings. Interpret / translate verbally and written as needed.
Perform detailed and complex legal research and providing alternative approaches for immigration issue resolutions.

TWO or more years of experience in the following areas preferred: -Deportation and family immigration -Consulate processing and depth knowledge on Immigration Service processes -Filing for asylum, Cancellation of Removal, SIJS, among other remedies before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeal (BIA)
***Experience with Employment Based Visas a PLUS!***
