This individual will be hands-on in the leadership of multiple simultaneous projects for planning, coordination, problem solving, task assignments, schedule monitoring, escalation, and status gathering. Projects being facilitated include core information governance, privacy, and compliance projects, process reengineering, and packaged software implementations.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Direct involvement in multiple concurrent project efforts of various sizes.
Manage day-to-day issues assess impacts to scope, schedule, quality and cost.
Create and maintain project plans to accomplish stated goals or produce the products required working within constraints such as time, cost and quality.
Facilitate the creation and documentation of project requirements, business cases, and executive summaries.
Identify, log, analyze and manage project issues and risks.
Proactively address deviations from project plans or schedules and keep all participants on track.
Provide executive level project status summaries.
Facilitate project meetings, including the creation of agendas, preparation of materials, and documentation of meeting minutes and results.
Vendor solicitation and selection management including Request for Proposal (RFP) package creation.
Liaison with IT Project Management regarding IG Department technology implementations.
3+ years’ experience as a project manager.
Experience to manage multiple priorities and tasks.
Involvement working within technical teams through all phases of the project lifecycle.
Ability to interact with technical, managerial, and executive level staff.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to organize, lead, facilitate, and manage status and other meetings as needed.
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio, MS Project.
Law firm experience preferred.
Formal project management training and certification.
