And we do it all with every action focused on our shared values of Integrity, Compassion, Relationships, Innovation & Performance.This position supports the Medicare Set Aside Specialists and responsible for maintaining Optum Settlement Solutions production standards.Primary Responsibilities:Promotes customer service by establishing and maintaining quality control standards and checkpoints, monitoring the progress of all cases to ensure work is being completed according to Optum Settlement Solutions standards and customer specifications.Fosters and maintains a productive working relationship with assigned MSA Specialists and with all production personnel. Works to maintain outstanding customer relationships.Communicates with clients on case progress.Works with MSA Specialists to prioritize and re-prioritize daily "to-dos."Handles all case management client contacts for MSA Specialist. Obtains additional or missing information needed to complete the MSA report on set deadline.Prepares all assigned MSA cases in a timely and efficient order.Studies, analyzes and interprets complex instructions while balancing and prioritizing multiple projects.Accurately and timely entering information into Client Profiles System on each case and manage all diaries.Ensures Special Handling Instructions are followed throughout the MSA process.Works with management on projects when selected and be able to provide informative and useful feedback.
Required Qualifications:High School Diploma / GED (or higher)2+ years of experience as a claims assistant, legal assistant, medical assistant or administrative assistantAbility to create and edit professional documents in Microsoft WordAbility to create, edit and input data onto Microsoft Excel spreadsheetsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in business, medical or in a related fieldSoft Skills:Ability to multitask and manage multiple projectsAbility to work in a fast paced environmentAbility to write and present effectively; adjusts to fit the audience and the message; strongly gets a message acrossPhysical Requirements and Work Environment:Extended periods of sitting at a computer and use of hands/fingers across keyboard or mouseOffice environmentOptumRx is an empowering place for people with the flexibility to help create change.
